abby corrigan

Abby Corrigan is from Columbus, OH and is a Senior Dance Performance and Choreography major at Elon University with a dual degree in Arts Administration and a minor in Business. She has choreographed works for the American College Dance Association Conference in 2017 and the Elon Dance Program’s Fall Dance Concert in 2016. In addition, Abby was a Creative Intern and Ensemble Member for a musical workshop choreographed by Lorin Latarro and has performed works by BODYTRAFFIC and Alex Ketley at the Peridance Blueprint Intensive Showcase in New York. She was the assistant to the Artistic Director of Ate9 Dance Company in 2015 and is currently the Elon Dance Program's Office Assistant. Abby is an Elon College Fellow and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society as well as the Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity.

julia goldberg

Julia Goldberg is from Basking Ridge, NJ and is a senior Dance Performance and Choreography major at Elon University with a dual degree in Dance Science. She has choreographed works for Elon Dance Program’s Choreography Salon and Dancing in the Landscape, as well as performed in many concerts including annual Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, the Black History Month Concert, and more. In 2017, Julia interned with three companies based in Los Angeles: Barak Ballet, Performing Arts Physical Therapy, and Evoke Yoga. Notably, Julia has also trained with Bodiography Contemporary Ballet during the summers of 2015 and 2016, where she had the opportunity to perform at the Frick Art and Historical Center alongside the company. As an Elon College Fellow, Julia is currently performing research concerning how physiological data may elicit spectator empathy, through the medium of a multimedia dance film to be presented in the Spring of 2018. In addition, Julia is a member of Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies and is a Presidential Scholar.

Taylor Hnatek is from Raleigh, NC and is a senior Dance Performance and Choreography major at Elon University with a dual degree in Dance Science and a minor in Exercise Science. She has choreographed works for the Elon Dance Program’s Choreography Salon and has performed in numerous shows with the Elon Dance Program, such as the Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, Dancing in the Landscape, and the Black History Month Concert. In 2016, she attended the American Dance Festival’s Six Week School. She was the Assistant Choreographer at the 2017 Distinguished Young Women National Finals in Mobile, AL and teaches seasonally at Carolina Dance Center in Raleigh, NC. Taylor is an Elon College Fellow, the President and Community Outreach Chair of Delta Chi Xi, the Honorary Dance Fraternity, and a member of the Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi Honors Societies.

Ashley Abbott is from Westfield, NJ and is a Senior BFA Dance Performance and Choreography and BA Arts Administration double major, with a Business Administration minor. Her choreographic work, “High Strung” was recently selected to be performed in the Fall Dance Concert at Elon University.  Her performance credits include: dancing in films that were finalists in both the NewFilmmakers of Los Angeles: On Location Film Festival and Expressions Short Film Festival in Nagpur, India; dancing and acting in a LA band’s music video; dancing in several performances with Elon Dance Program for the last 3 years. She has worked as an intern at Blackbird Dance Company in Los Angeles, CA for the last two summers, and was the Assistant Director of the 2016 Fall Dance Concert at Elon University. Ashley is a member of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity and is on the President’s List at Elon.

Cassandra Tumasz is from Bucks County, PA and is a senior Dance Performance and Choreography and Dance Science dual major at Elon University. She has choreographed works for Elon Dance Program’s Choreography Salon and the American College Dance Association. Her performance credits include Elon Dance Program’s Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, Black History Month Dance Concert, TappedOut!, DanceWorks Spring Show, and Dancing in the Landscape. She spent a semester training and performing with the Florence Dance Center in Florence, Italy. She has held internships with performing arts physical therapists and health/wellness practitioners in Los Angeles, CA. Cassandra is the Secretary of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity, Inc., and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is a recipient of Elon University’s Lumen Prize and presented her original research at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science in 2017.

Cierra Seawright is from High Point, NC and is a senior Dance Performance and Choreography major at Elon University with a dual degree in Strategic Communications. She has choreographed works for Black Student Union Fashion Show, The Miss Black and Gold Scholarship Pageant and the Elon Dance Program’s Choreography Salon. She has performed in a variety of shows with the Elon Dance Program such as Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, Black History Month Concert, and Dancing in the Landscape. In 2016, Cierra interned at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles, CA where she handled various administrative tasks. Cierra is a Student Coordinator for The Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education and the President of the Omicron Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is a member of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity and has received the Black Excellence Award for her academic achievements each year.

Corinne Wilson is a senior BFA Dance major from Littleton, CO. Corinne has been involved in many of Elon’s productions as a performer and as a choreographer. Additionally, Corinne’s dance film “Ever After” was selected for Expressions Film Festival in Nagpur, India and a semi-finalist for Les Filmes des la Toiles Film Festival in Paris, France. Corinne interned for McDonald Selznick Associates dance agency in Los Angeles and has participated in the Rockettes Summer Intensives in New York City for five summers. She has taught for over a decade in Denver and North Carolina and choreographed for theater shows in the same states. Corinne was president of Elon DanceWorks, the campus wide dance and choreography organization. She is choreographing and directing an evening length jazz work presented in February 2018, based on analytical research done on Bob Fosse, Gus Giordano, Luigi, Lester Horton and Matt Mattox. Corinne is a Presidential Scholar, an Elon College Fellow, and a member of Delta Chi Xi Honorary Dance Fraternity Inc.

Blair Foust is from Burlington, NC and is a Senior BFA Dance Performance and Choreography major. Her choreographic work, “Machination” was selected for the adjudicated concert at the American College Dance Association Conference. Blair has been involved in many of Elon’s productions and has performed in many concerts including annual Fall and Spring Dance Concerts, Dancing in the Landscape, Choreography Salon and more. Blair was an intern with Career Transition for Dancers in Los Angeles.

Minnie Lane is from San Antonio, TX, and is a Senior Dance Performance and Choreography major at Elon University with a dual degree in Creative Writing. She has choreographed works for the the Elon Dance Program’s Fall Dance Concert in 2016. In addition, Minnie studied Gaga at Jerusalem Academy of Dance. Minnie has performed works by Noa Suk, Ohad Naharin, Jen Guy Metcalf, Sara Tourek, and Lauren Kearns. Minnie is an Honors Fellow is completing her thesis on 21st Century Dance Criticism.

Alexandra Fung is a senior BFA Dance Performance & Choreography/BA Communication Design double major at Elon University. She grew up in Charlotte, NC, where she trained and performed with Charlotte City Ballet Company under Melissa Hale-Coyle and Lisa Leone for seven seasons. During her summers, Alexandra attended intensive programs with Alonzo King LINES Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education, and American Ballet Theatre. In 2016, Alexandra spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, where she had the opportunity to perform in the Anglo-American International Arts Festival with Florence Dance Center. Throughout her college career, Alexandra has performed in Elon Dance Program’s Fall and Spring Dance Concerts every year and has choreographed for Dancing in the Landscape and Choreography Salon. She is currently completing her Honors Fellows thesis in dance and multimedia, culminating in a live work to be presented in the spring of 2018.
